ポケモン ワールドチャンピオンシップス 2009

開催概要

8月14日（金）、15日（土）に、アメリカのサンディエゴで、「ポケモンワールドチャンピオンシップス2009」が行われたぞ！　世界20カ国以上から集まった各国代表選手が、『ポケットモンスター プラチナ』と「ポケモンカードゲーム」の世界チャンピオンの座をかけて、激しいバトルの火花を散らした！

The event will host top players from around the world competing for the title of Pokémon TCG World Champion and for scholarships worth up to $7,500.

• Placing in the top 4 at the 2008 Pokémon TCG World Championships
• Top finishers of the 2009 Pokémon TCG National Championships

• Special qualifier events (Japan only)

これらのプレイヤーに加えて、現地イベント the Last Chance Qualifier（ラストチャンスクオリファイ）の上位陣が招待権を獲得できた

The list of invited players, and their countries of residence, can be found below. In addition to these players, top finishers of the Last Chance Qualifier in San Diego will also receive an invitation to participate in the 2009 Pokémon TCG World Championships.

カードゲーム大会では、まず14日（金）に予選を行い、各リーグ上位16名を決定。15日（土）には本選が行われ、予選を勝ち抜いた16名が、世界チャンピオンの座をかけてバトルしたよ！

カードゲーム大会ジュニアプレイヤーズリーグ

中村翼くん（日本）

中村翼くんは、レントラーGL（ジムリーダー） LV.Xのポケパワー「かがやくまなざし」で、HPの低い相手のベンチポケモンをバトル場に呼び出してから、トレーナー「ポケターン」を使ってレントラーGL（ジムリーダー） LV.Xを手札に戻し、次の自分の番も、ポケパワー「かがやくまなざし」が使えるようにしていたぞ。
ほかにも、相手の使ってきたポケパワーを、トレーナー「パワースプレー」を使って的確に止め、勝利を手にした！
